Party No. 3: Inspiration
The inspiration for Jason’s 29th birthday party is certainly the most unique thus far. I remembered this was going to be his last bday party of his 20s, so I wanted to celebrate with some childhood favorites: bright colors, balloons, games, pizza and ice cream cake! I've had my eye on a bunch of neon colored projects online, and when I floated the color scheme to Jason he was on board. The neon colors, feel bright and cheery, while not being overly feminine. And they certainly scream PARTY.
The video below, was one of my favorite performances from last season of So You Think You Can Dance. It was the first time I heard the song, and I loved it right away. Jason hated it (nearly) right away. But- he loved the dance routine as much as I did, which is why we get along so well. Please enjoy the following neon, cowboy-disco as much as we do. I guarantee it will put you in the mood to throw a neon themed dance party, just don't say I didn't warn you.
