May included: springtime flowers, walks with my Mom, driving home, gorgeous sweet peas from a friend (making me excited for ours!), my Dad and 'his' Angel's Trumpet plant, late morning walks, Taylor Swift at Levi's with my sister!, a quick cameo by Sydney!, baby M drumming, driving home (routine), sunshine mornings, my go-to breakfast, Mondays with M, Jeopardy nights with my parents, craft explosion, more walking with my Mom, sneaky nasturtium sprouts, gloomy grey skies, more drives home, Warriors playoff games, moon sighting, inaugural summer fire pit, dropping my sister off at the airport, sunset walk, Sacramento hydrangea goodness, another moon sighting on my drive back to the Bay, Giants games at home, lots of Facetimes, reading this memoir by Meg Fee, grey skies, and empanadas with Mom at Pampas Cafe.
There was a lot of routine and quiet while I'm ramping up for a summer of transitions. It's interesting to notice, again, that I wasn't interested in capturing video clips this month. Not sure if it's become a habit that I'm kinda over? Or if I was resisting being in the moment because some of the moments were less than ideal to sit with.
