Another month over which means another video to add to the collection!
This is the best. "This" being the 1 Second Everyday app and it's simple memory keeping format, and "this" also being my life in May 2016. I can feel my favorite parts of summer starting to creep in to my days and nights, and the sensation is familiar and exciting. Of course, seeing my life in short clips like this is fun to watch now, but I know it'll be even more thrilling to watch again 2, 5, and 10 years down the road.
I like keeping the "notes" on the blog like this for added context!
This May I was able to capture: farmers market vibes, DWTS, a few peonies, spray painting the patio furniture, succulent propagation progress, Jason while at Federalist in Sacramento, me picking out -and planting- tomato plants at The Plant Foundry Nursery, the sound of my newish bedside lamp's click, dancing to Andy Samberg's "I'm So Humble", my Mom showing my Dad the Giants' game via Facetime while he was in Toyko(!), Filoli gardens, time at home and backyard landscaping progress, Patxi's pizza with Mom (+ Dad right after he returned from Japan), a week back in Sacramento with: evening walks, working on a special watercolor project and a return trip to IKEA. Plus, rainbows after an afternoon of May showers, Scooter during a check in, the new Adele video that Jason and I both loved while watching the Billboard Music Awards, Bachelorette nights starting again, going to Rick's Dessert Diner for my half birthday pie, patio garden time, kombucha and beer at the Federalist again, swimming with Lili during our first pool party of 2016, throwing the football with Jason, our new grill, and one of my tomato's progress!
May: you were a fun one. I'm excited to see how June turns out.
