Six months into 2016 and things are moving right along.
June was a warm month with some tough days. I'm grateful for the opportunities that came to rest, and fully experience the introspection that comes with life's ebb and flow. I'm happy I have this project to keep reminding me to stay in moment the best I can. I know I'll love looking back and seeing the strength that I'm learning to rely on. Rough days come, and yet there is still joy, and rainbows, and laughs.
The name of the game this month was watching my garden grow (you can literally see my tomato's progress from the first shot to the one where I'm watering with little Liliana), weekly barbecuing, and lots of wedding fun.
June included: catching the neighborhood cat on my patio, evening walks, yoga classes, making watercolor table numbers for Anne and Joe's wedding, basketball at the park with Jason, watermelon galore, dress shopping with Becca and Lili, picking up Jason's suit, rainbows for Orlando, time at home with Mom and Dad, plus Richard! that yellow flower on my gate, Brett and Shandi's wedding, a productive day of cleaning the house, homegrown cucumber tasting, La Croix and wedding planning with Anne, walks to the farmers' market, a drive up I-5 to Redding with J, watering the tomatoes with Lili- insert all the heart emojis, Bachelorette night with toddler giggles, the completed table numbers, my new gnome from the LGBT Pride Awards night, and a bunch of Giants games on our couch.
Bring on the month of July, and bring on summer! Happy holiday weekend, friends!
