Digging how my flower garden is turning out. We have more cosmos than we know what to do with, and the sweet peas are finally beginning to climb. Hooray for Floret!
Feeling overwhelmed by the positive response I received about my personal essay last week. I didn't post it with the intention of getting so many kudos, but the kindness certainly helped ease my vulnerability hangover.
Watching the new season of Master of None. The episode about dating apps is SO ACCURATE.
Making some decorations for Miss Kristan's Bachelorette Party, coming up at the end of June. Pink and glitter + all the inappropriate fun, sounds like a great girls' weekend to me.
Trying to get back into a meditation practice. Baby steps. Working on going easier on myself.
Beginning to collect the photos and project links from the first 50 days of my #The100DayProject, with the intention of creating a wrap up blog post when it's all over. It's awesome to see how much I've already made by hand in the last 7 weeks. Check out my Instagram hashtag #100DaysOfAndreaHandmade to see what I've been making!
Looking forward to getting my quilt back. After finishing my top, I quickly discovered that I didn't have the necessary tools to machine quilt it myself, and that every other quilter I know just takes it in to a quilt shop to be finished. So, now I'm anxiously waiting for it's completion! Can't wait to show it off.
Getting back into face masks and podcasts at night. Self-care FTW!
Loving the below art, by Mari Andrew. Her illustrations constantly hit home for me.
