Planning to have a thriving container garden on my porch this spring and summer. I'm pretty obsessed with gardening in general, but especially succulents. I plan to add tomatoes when the time is right. It's so relaxing tending to my little plants, and such a good reminder to be patient. I can pick and prod at them all I want, but bottom line is: they need time to grow. TLC (water, sunlight, happy environment) + time. Kinda like me.
Contemplating how to celebrate Jason's quickly approaching birthday. Last year's neon party will be hard to top.
Loving this season of Survivor. I haven't watched the show in years but decided to tune in since former Kings player Scot Pollard is a contestant.
Celebrating Lili's 2nd birthday this weekend! Can't believe her big Alice in Wonderland themed party was a already a year ago. Seems like just yesterday that I was meeting her for the first time, and now she's a walking and talking toddler! Proud of her mom and dad, too.
Embracing the rainy weather we are supposed to get this weekend. Hoping to work on a puzzle with Jason and a cozy drink in hand.
Eating cucumbers with yogurt-ranch.
Replaying the most recent episodes of New Girl and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. They are both bringing it again this year, and Tuesday nights are my current favorite night for laughing.
Enjoying my new Ali Edwards pen. I'm pretty specific about pen types, and was happy to discover this little gem. Penmanship nerds rejoice!
Going to town on Jelly Bellys with my sister and mom. The search for specific flavors kept us all enthralled after watching the Oscars together last weekend. <3
Reading my bestie Kristan's new blog!! She's writing about her life as a bonus Mom of the sweetest little guy, and how she's conquering a life with humor and grace. She's been cracking me up (plus supporting me through every situation) for nearly 10 years now, and I'm super excited she's taking her talents to the internet. Proud of you, boo. You da one.
Starting the process of compiling blog post content about last weekend's fiesta! My family threw a 75th birthday bash for my Pepere, and there is so much fun craftiness to share. Stay tuned!
