Reading "Places I Stopped on the Way Home" by Meg Fee. I devoured it and can't recommend it enough for a thoughtful and nostalgic memoir about growing up.
Visiting my sister in Southern California!
Binging on Young House Love's entire podcast catalog. I'm all caught up now and am missing John and Sherry in my days. It's an easy listen, especially back-to-back like I did it.
Trying to enjoy the middle, the in-between, the transition.
Going out on a limb and using Facebook Marketplace to buy some fun household items and sell a bunch of my old stuff that I'm not using. So far it's been a great way to get rid of things I no longer want and I highly recommend it!
Wrapping up my #the100dayproject over on Instagram. I'm hoping to compile all the prompts into a larger blog post and share some more thoughts on what happens when you commit to participating in the same activity for 100 days straight.
Loving the sneak peaks for this new TV show coming out next month. Amy Poehler + crafting = I'm sold!
Eating take out Indian food.
Thinking about this video that highlights "7 unexpected upsides to grief". As always, everyone's experience to loss is different- but I agree with some of the points about the things you would never expect to feel. Plus, I love Nora McInerny.
Feeling warm and cozy with my new-ish heating pad. My old one was on the fritz and I ordered this one as a backup. But, it reminded me how a little upgrade can make a huge difference, especially when it's something I use on the daily. It is so worth it to invest in something that will make your life easier or more enjoyable.
Smelling fresh cut roses from my Mom's garden.
