CURRENTLY | JUNE 2017.
Obsessing over my ongoing sweet pea harvest! Their colors are incredibly soft yet vibrant. But, nothing beats their scent. Thanks Floret Flower for the seeds!
Enjoying the Trader Joe's mango cream pops. Imagine how good they would be mixed into a fizzy summer cocktail!
Listening to the Girl Next Door podcast while taking walks (only in the evenings after the temperatures cool down) and particularly loved their recent listener questions episode. I saved this line that Erica said, "your audience wants your most authentic self", referring to sharing your truth with friends, and strangers on the internet.
Watching the rest of the most recent seasons of "New Girl" and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine". A side effect of my grief is lack of concentration when it comes to some activities that used to bring me joy. I was happy to feel in the mood to watch some of my favorite shows again!
Rocking out to the entire new Lorde album, Melodrama. Some favorite tracks include, "Homemade Dynamite", "Liability", and "Supercut".
Celebrating the Summer Solstice this week with a some rituals and good old fashioned journalling. Here are some facts about this international holiday.
Sharing this article about progress in grief. I especially love the point about comparing yourself to your worst point, rather than your ideal self. "You should feel proud of yourself for every small step you make, because healing from grief isn’t the result of smoothly navigating a journey. Healing from grief is what happens when you get up each day and decide to keep walking."
Getting my artist on at my first ever Paint Nite this past week. It felt good to be creative, and I'm glad I finally got in on the paint-party craze.
Looking forward to a weekend in Scottsdale for my high school bestie's Bachelorette party! Hoping we don't melt in the 115 degree temperatures.
Loving these two art pieces on success and healing.

Happy summer, friends! As always, thanks for reading.
Sending love to wherever you are this June weekend.
