Wearing this t-shirt while voting in the CA primary this past week (and getting tons of compliments). Because a woman's place is in the House and the Senate... and the Oval Office! And the classroom, and the garden, and the laboratory... women should have a place any and every where.
Dreaming of getting a logo for this little blog of mine. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it here previously, but I'm so ready for a change! Anyone have a fabulous designer who might be a good fit for a simple logo?
Listening to the same batch of podcasts as usual, and especially loving the Stuff Mom Never Told You episodes about Rom Coms.
Cherishing the thoughtful, handwritten thank you card that came in the mail this week. You know who you are, and you are so special to me!
Eating all the watermelon. Also loving the coconut water popsicles I'm making, when I get home from hot late afternoon walks.
Trying to go with the natural ebs and flows of life. While attempting to pay more attention to my body's cues, it has also become easier to notice the natural up and down of my energy levels. "Giving in" to times when I need more rest helps me feel exponentially more refueled when my energy inevitably comes back around.
Looking forward to writing down a summer to-do list of fun activities to try. Got any must dos for me and Jason to add?
Counting down the days until Joe and Anne's wedding! 70 days to go!
Loving the newest yoga teacher I found at my gym. I'm thankful for a renewed sense of love for my body and all that it is teaching me.
Getting a thrill from my patio garden! I've got three different varieties of tomatoes and two different types of cucumbers and they all seem to be going strong. I can't wait to taste them- that will be the real test. Although, even if they don't taste amazing, I've enjoyed the process of taking care of them so much that I think it'll be worth it. Talk about journey vs. destination, right? Check out a slice of the progress on my instagram.
Reminding you to go easy on yourself this weekend. Trust the process, but more importantly, trust your intuition.
