Spending a whole Sunday in Sacramento touring some of my favorite spots: including a few new places, too! Like La Venadita (where the awesome balloon window art was), Oak Park Brewing, Two Rivers Cider Co., and of course Jacks. It was the best day I've had in a long time and was much needed.
Watching THE OLYMPICS!! And I'm so sad they are over. Loved Virtue and Moir in Ice Dancing and Chloe Kim from Snowboarding. Can't forget the US Men's Curling team, too!
Eating whole wheat or everything bagels with avocado and hard boiled eggs for breakfast.
Remembering my love affair with plants. I recently visited Shelf in Castro Valley, and man, do they have ALL the plants. It's a small shop and every inch is taken up with lovely and unique greenery. Might be the place I finally find the staghorn fern that I've been searching for!
Loving this sweet story that celebrates a college basketball player's legacy. It made me think about the many different ways we honor those who come before us.
Enjoying the crazy hail, and now rain, that Northern CA was hit with this week!
Feeling all the feels from this touching article. It's really impactful for me to read about how others are living with grief, especially from the sibling perspective.
Finishing the most adorable quilt by Village Bound Quilts and being featured on her blog! (I'll never get over seeing my creative work next to the work of some incredible makers.) You've gotta see how well Tiffany translated her inspiration to the final pattern.
Treating myself to the occasional Vitality Bowl: I'm all about the "green bowl".
Starting over. Again and again. <3
