Wanting to be transported back to Maui, if only for the tasty drinks- with flowers and umbrellas in them.
Feeling the beginnings of Fall outside. Autumn in Sacramento is a lot different than it is in the Bay Area, and I have come to really enjoy watching the seasons change. It's a fresh start.
Watching Another Period on Comedy Central. It's well written and cast perfectly. Highly recommend.
Reading Amy Poehler's Yes Please. Happy that I finally got around to it while on vacation. It was as good as I hoped it would be, and a quick read.
Listening to the usual array of podcasts. Plus, the Afternoon Acoustic playlist on Spotify. I've found I need chill songs playing in the background vs. an interesting podcast or TV show, while I write these blog posts.
Walking more and more each week. It's easier with the cooler temperatures we've been experiencing.
Eagerly anticipating the release of Mindy Kaling's new book Why Not me? later this month. And happy that The Mindy Project's next season will premiere on Hulu soon!
Rewatching YouTube videos of animals doing silly things. And babies and puppies. You're welcome.
Planning for our "big" move in the coming weeks. Trying to remember that it is all going to work out exactly how it is supposed to.
Loving the new cast of DWTS. Kim Zolciak Biermann! Alek Skarlatos, one of the France train helpers, a Sacramento local! Sign me up!
Thinking about my baby brother and sister, and looking forward to reuniting with them and our parents in the coming months.
Loving the box of honey graham crackers I just pulled out of the pantry. If only I had some marshmallows and chocolate to go with them.
Happy Friday and long weekend, friends. See you next week for more of what we did in Maui, and the beginnings of Party No. 8!
